Well time is seriously flying by. Davis is 6 months old! He weighs 17 lbs. 12 oz. (55 %) and is in the 80% for height (I don't have the actual length - I forgot the sheet at the doctor's office). He's getting to be such a big boy and just precious as ever. He laughs all the time and we think he has a fantastic sense of humor :)
He's rolling over both ways, babbling up a storm, sleeping through the night (for the most part) and getting up on all fours a bit. I'm certainly not in any hurry to have 2 mobile kids, but I don't think it will be too long! Davis is not a big napper - he only sleeps about 2 hours during the day (which just seems crazy to me). The kid just fights sleep and doesn't want to miss a thing! The other night while playing in the jumper he finally just gave up fighting sleep and this is what we saw...
We're going to start him on some solid foods this weekend and we're looking forward to him joining us at the dinner table :) He's been wearing 9 month clothes for a few weeks now and is in a size 3 diaper (Garrison wears a size 4!). D had his first trip to the ER last week with a bad eye infection and RSV. Poor little guy was a mess! Thankfully, this week has been much less eventful.
He's also teething like crazy. His little gum are so hard that it won't be long before those teeth are poking through. Here is exhibit A - always chewing on something...
We love our sweet Davis so much!!
