Goodbye 2009...hello 2010!

What a year 2009 has been! Lots of ups, a few downs but such a wonderful year over all. I've been kind of introspective over the past couple of days and have just been feeling so much gratitude for where I am and what my life looks like today. My heart feels so full. God is so good.

I am going into 2010 excited for what it may bring. I have a feeling more changes are coming, but isn't that every year? I'm looking forward to seeing Garrison change and grow. I'm looking forward to Bryan and I growing in our marriage and as parents. I'm looking forward to growing in our faith. I'm looking forward to deepening our relationships with family and friends. I am looking forward to continuing in our journey to become the people that God wants us to be.

I hope that each of you have a very happy New Year. 2010 is going to be a great year!

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth!

Well Garrison must have been singing that song over the last few days because his 1st little baby tooth came in yesterday!! We were just playing and he bit my finger...not an odd occurence for a teething baby...and I felt something hard! A tooth! And he wasn't even fussier than usual (which isn't much at all).
It's so exciting but Bryan and I just can't believe how quickly he's changing! We were looking at pictures over the weekend of him when he was an itty bitty baby...it seems a lifetime, yet not that long ago at all. What a ride!
I got out his baby book, which I had NOT updated in months, and spent some time documenting all the wonderful changes. It's a good thing I have this blog or I wouldn't have a clue when all his "Firsts" had happened!
So Garrison's 1st Christmas was really nice. Santa brought him a jumperoo, which he absolutely LOVES! I think we're gonna have to start feeding him more because he burns so many calories jumping! He got lots of other fun stuff too and spent time with lots of family. Pictures to come!

Well, it's official, Garrison can sit up all by himself. Just last week he was so wobbly, and now he's sturdy as can be! Here's a pic to document the milestone...
It just amazes me how much they can change day by day. I gotta keep an eye on him!! He's also started to do a bit of the army crawl as well. The fun is about to really begin! Babyproofing time is here!

We also went to see Santa today. Garrison didn't know what in the world we were doing, but Bryan and I had fun taking him! We went with the Orr's and the Steveken's and they both have older boys. Let's just say there were definetly some tears involved! Next year should be interesting! Here's a link to see the pic...
